Our newest restaurant, Aracosia McLean, is the sister restaurant to Bistro Aracosia in DC, and Afghan Bistro in Springfield VA.

Tom Sietsema of The Washinton Post has acknowledged Afghan Bistro as “The area's best Afghan Restaurant”.
Yelp's top 100 restaurants in The US awarded Afghan Bistro the honor of 3rd best in the country.

Bistro Aracosia has been acknowledged by Forbes magazine as 1 of 50 best restaurants in the nation for Vegetarians, and awarded The Washingtonian's "100 best restaurants".
Aracosia accommodates any diet and is proud of taking cooking back to its origins.
Chef Sofia Masroor diligently ensures top grade cuts of meat and the freshest produce. Food at Aracosia is prepared with love. No artificial ingredients MSGs or preservatives are used, nor do we cook anything with nuclear such as microwaves and pre-made stations.

    Absolutely superb food and extremely gracious atmosphere. Every time. Restaurant was a bit hot but otherwise everything is always fabulous.

    This is my favorite restaurant in the DMV and it’s not even close. We took our neighbors to Aracosia last night. Our neighbors are not very adventurous when it comes to trying new cuisine, but after listening to me rave about Aracosia for years, they decided to give it a try. They ordered the dumpling trio, lamb chops, and beef tenderloin and they LOVED everything. They’re already planning to bring their families back for more. The food is authentic and always cooked to perfection. You will not find more tender and flavorful lamb, beef, veal or chicken anywhere. The atmosphere and service are always perfection. The staff is friendly, helpful, and they provide the perfect balance of careful attention and respectful privacy.Again: #1 restaurant in the DMV! …and it’s not even close.
