Argoe is a casual harbourside restaurant serving the best of local Cornish produce. We focus on fish and seafood, landed here in Newlyn, and take inspiration from traditional European methods of cooking. Our dishes are served to be shared, arriving from the kitchen as they are ready and accompanied by minimal intervention wines from our taps and a small selection of Cornish and UK made ciders, spirits and soft drinks.

    This is the best fish restaurant in Cornwall. Fresh , simply cooked fish which has come from fish market next door. Sides very interesting and good desserts too. Love it we come here regularly.

    Delicious food as always, beautifully cooked and presented with lots of interesting flavours with super fresh local products. We were especially impressed with the way the chef and staff catered to a vegan in our party. Excellent vegan menu packed with flavour and taste.

    HAMAZING! Food was fab as usual. I first came in 2022 for my birthday and now (3rd time) it’s hands down my fave restaurant in Cornwall. Emma is a babe. Keep up the great work 💗 Love from Tanya and Dylan X

    Amazing view over Newlyn Fishing Harbour! Food was excellent! The roast potatoes were the best I’ve ever had and the plaice just fell off the fork. Lovely service too. Would definitely recommend.

    Love the food and we go often as we live locally but do not particularly like the wine list. Natural wines are not always very good wines.

    Food was cooked to perfection. The Brill was amazing. Best meal we have had in a long time and although not cheap well worth the cost. Excellent service and staff very friendly. Would recommend
