The inside is a little more spacious, it has a lobby, the dining area that has nearly double the capacity of the old location, I see the door leading to the kitchen, and a barista station. Expect to wait in line if more than one person is using the bathroom(there is a male and female room). The cups for water has been updated to be star shaped, some menu items may have the Maid magic but during the soft opening some items are excluded as guests are trying out whatever is available. There are also new items and some are vegan inclusive. I haven't found time to go through the menu, but the live performances and playing games with the maids are available. The maids also have a chekki work station. I picked a time where Saiki's birthday event was to be held on the only day I can reserve the weekend during AX Chibi, and I did indeed have a magical time. It feels like old times that makes the experience wholesome and fun, and what I love about Asayoru is that it draws in all the good people who can come in to be at ease and be accepted.
With the new items, maids working, and a cozy environment that is close to the movie theater where I can smell the popcorn when I walk to or leave Asayoru.
During the evening, I was able to enjoy some conversations, try out some of the yummy food. My only complaint is that the menu didn't tell me that the mango parfait I ordered included strawberry slices and banana slices or I would have considered ordering a different parfait. Another concern I have is the chairs, I have to wonder if they are sturdy enough for heavy patrons. I do hope the guests who are sitting in the rear rows can see the stage as the front may obscure the guests vision.
