asta serves seasonally inspired tasting menus in an intimate and open setting. beverage pairings are as thoughtfully chosen as the ingredients and seek harmony over convention. the menu changes frequently, but there are always a lot of vegetables! the shorter menu feels more familiar as it sprouts from tradition while the longer menu chases the chefs imaginations. ***when booking your table, please be sure to indicate any food allergies and also requests for pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan menus!!***

                                Whenever I visit Boston, I always plan on dinner at Asta. This visit reminded me why. The multi course, seasonal menu is well balanced; using the best available ingredients. Chef's classical French training and exquisite technique coax flavors to their full potential. The fish course was moist and flaky, while the skin on the squab was beautifully lacquered brown. The wine program at Asta is among the best in town. The well curated list focuses on natural and small producers from around the world. Each offering in the tasting menu paired perfectly with the cuisine. Service was friendly, attentive, and most of all, knowledgable. I highly recommend Asta and look forward to my next visit!

                                Four of us ate at Asta recently and it was one of the best dining experiences that we've had in Boston. The ambiance is lovely, brick wall, open kitchen and surprisingly moderate level of noise. Loved the table with drawers containing various knives, forks, spoons and napkins. We opted for the 5 course tasting with additional sides of foie gras and pasta with truffles. One of us selected the wine tasting which he thoroughly enjoyed. I was concerned that 5 courses might be on the small side and we would be hungry but that definitely wasn't the case. There was an amuse-bouche of an amazing split pea soup, delicious crusty bread for tasting all the wonderful sauces in each course and complimentary popcorn with a kick of spice and a peppermint fudge. It is not inexpensive but well worth it. We were sitting for over 3 1/2 hours and never felt rushed or forgotten. The level of service was perfect. Dining should be memorable and our experience definitely was.

                                As always, Asta provide an expensive wonderful and creative meal with interesting wine pairings and friendly great service. We went their for our anniversary and relaxed and enjoyed the experience. Asta places a lot of emphasis on interesting veggies which we really appreciate.
