I was so excited to try Atardi from reading all the fantastic reviews. Well, I was not impressed with the food at all. For me, it didn’t live up to my expectations.

Above average for a resort restaurant, and great ambience! Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Dining on the beach is a must do, and we would dine here again. The cocktails were priced well, mixed well and there is a good selection. The Octopus starter was flavorful and presentation was gorgeous. The Short Ribs were prepared properly, seasoned to perfection and adequately portioned. The presentation was lacking however, and the accompanying vegetables were bland. The Chilean sea bass was portioned well, and presentation was ok. The mushrooms were plentiful and the broth tasty. It needed a little more puree and spinach.

The sunset view was great. Had to move our table before the rain poured down. Good after the short rain. We ordered grouper, red snapper, and beef as main dishes. Enjoyed both our food and drinks. We don’t mind the island pace of service since that gave us time to chat.

Lugar fantástico a orillas del mar y mesas en la arena con puesta de sol maravillosa y música ambiente en vivo. La comida extraordinaria. Algo caro pero vale la pena.

We have eaten her for 10 years in a row, and the food was dramatically different than in previous years, and not in a good way. I ordered the pistachio Grouper, and it was completely different than the previous years. It was not good. I was really disappointed since I looked 3 weeks in advance and was expecting the same quality food. They must have a new chef. Totally bummed and it was extremely expensive. I took the leftovers back to the hotel, and threw it in the trash, as I did not want my gusts to know my disappointment. Hope you fix whatever it is you changed.
