Atchafalaya is a true New Orleans neighborhood eatery where the eclectic yet elegant atmosphere is only outshone by the attentive service and delicious local fare. Nestled under the oaks on the edges of the Irish Channel, Magazine Street, and historic Garden districts, this hidden gem is one the best contemporary Creole dining experiences that one can find in the city. Neighbors, locals, and out of towners alike will become regulars after experiencing the brand of hospitality offered by New Orleans’ only five “A” restaurant.                                         Fabulous team dinner at Atchafalaya! This restaurant is so pretty and in a cute neighborhood. Mario did a fantastic job taking care of our group of 10. We made a reservation and were seated in a private room that felt so cozy and gave us the space we needed for a group bonding dinner. The food and drinks were 10/10 amazing!

                                        I eat here every trip to New Orleans and it is always a treat.. Great food and service in a beautiful atmosphere. We had Saturday brunch - our group had crab cake Benedict, shrimp & grits and duck hash and all were amazing. The green tomato appetizer was topped with fried shrimp and roe. Group consensus was that it was the best meal of our trip.
