Every time I come to the Cloudland resort, we eat at Auld Alliance. We find a great value in the food being that my partner is a team member with Hilton, but the service alone makes every single cent worth it. From our Somalier Kiah, to our server Carrie, who kindly wrote recipes on an order pad for the cocktails she hand crafted for the birthday boy (and custom made one to his tastes!), we have been thoroughly sated and satisfied with each experience we have had here. I truly have never had a better experience at any dining establishment. We enjoyed the house, specialty dry, aged ribeye, and it is the perfect size for two, along with the baby heirloom carrots, the “life ruining” French fries (Carrie said this and after having them twice, I completely agree they have ruined all other fries for me), and an oyster trio, an Alabama variety which was absurdly good. The chef is unbelievably talented and I have enjoyed everything I’ve tasted, but the deserts are the most divine thing. We had a butter scotch and apple variety of the crème brûlée this time, and enjoyed the textures of chocolate last time. I can only describe both as “sinful.” Thank you so much to this staff for the most magnificent experiences every time we arrive.
