Aura is a neighborhood restaurant that celebrates how food, drink, people, and atmosphere come together
Aura is inspired by the banks of the Mediterranean, the spirit of family, the crisp coolness of a just caught oyster, the vibrancy of farm fresh vegetables, and the spirit of, “il dolce far niente.”

Here at Aura, we pride ourselves on hospitality, with a focus on memorable moments, whether you’re coming in for a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar, an intimate dinner with friends, or a large celebration.

Our menus are inspired by our culture, our seasonal ingredients, and our travels… and we welcome you to share your aura with us. We hope to see you soon.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times. Last night we had a 6:30 reservation and we were a party of four. We were all present before 6:30. The hostess said we would have a table in the main room. The manager decided to give the table to one of his friends which were a party of two. My husband went to get the managers attention and he proceeded to walk away which then angered my husband. The manager then got confrontational when my husband tried to tell him that he gave our table away. I even said to the manager that i'm a regular customer at his restaurant. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to me when i said that. I have never been treated so poorly. I can continue to go on about this manager's behavior. I just want you to know i have never written a poor review about a restaurant, this is the first. We ended up staying and had our dinner .Our servers were wonderful. Maybe the manager should learn from his staff. Im also a long time loyal customer at DaNicola and know Nick who is the nicest man.To add one more comment the manager never came over to our table to say so sorry about this misunderstanding.

We both had fish He had Halibut in a heavy sauce it was an extremely meager portion could not taste the fish $47 I had the sole same thing in s tomato based sauce with tiny potatoes We waited quite sometime for our entree to arrive and we were very disappointed We had been there twice before and wrrr very pleased

Great food! Fun atmosphere! Brunch is a must! Wanted to try everything on menu. Everything we had was delicious! Drinks were tasty! Can’t wait to try the Expresso tower!

Great spot , excellent food . Service was very good. We sat at the high tables near the bar. Back room tight and you miss the lighting and energy of the front .

Another amazing experience at Aura. We tried new dishes such as the seafood stew and it was delicious. Atmosphere was lively and the hostesses were friendly and were on top of everything and attentive. Service from all staff was also fabulous.

The food was delicious and abundant and beautifully presented . Our server, Krystal, was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, just like its sister restaurant, DaNicola, in Hewlett , the noise level is awful. An evening out shouldn’t necessitate having to shout to be heard by one’s table mates.
