Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

$70/person Wed, Thu, Sun
$85/person Fri-Sat

8-course*:
$115/person Wed, Thu, Sun
$135/person Fri-Sat

*The 8 course meal is only available during our second seating time from 7:45-8:30pm

Servers were all lovely, every course was unique and delicious, and they had multiple non-alcoholic options which is always a fun treat. Definitely worth an experience if you’re vegan in Toronto. And they made sure my soy-allergy didn’t interfere at all with having the complete experience.

Avelo is among the finest dining experience with artful, beautiful, thoughtful creations and presentation. Every course is full of nuance and delicious taste sensations. The wine pairings are complementary and enhancing. The service is impeccable. All staff are warmly engaging, very knowledgeable, and committed to the whole experience. I give Avelo my highest recommendation, visiting since 2021.

Feel completely dissapointed and robbed. Beware vegan foodies. Cheap establishment. Staff does not want to go over budget and give you a 2nd bite-sized croissants to finish the pate it comes with. Misleading portions and shared desserts?? FREEZING cold establishment will have you leaving with frostbite in hands and toes, staff do not care when you express your concerns, some dishes gave me a stomach ache, or had me rushing to chug down water, tip is mandatory and no choice to remove it. Unacceptable. Terrible experience.

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.

I’m neither vegan nor vegetarian but I wanted to try this restaurant to experience something different. It was a wonderful dinning experience. The food was amazing and the service was terrific. The quality of the food was impressive. The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. My own vegetable dishes just don’t cut it anymore. It is pricey but, in my opinion, it’s worth it.

Had a great experience at Avelo. Ordered the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing for a birthday with some requested substitutions. Food had great variety of flavours and we appreciated the care in the substitutions. Ambience was excellent: quiet but not fussy; elevated but comfortable. As a group, we liked some of the dishes more than others, but portions were just right and the wine pairings were very good. Highly recommend doing both. Included special dessert and complementary drink. for the birthday. Overall, highly satisfactory for 2 omnivores and a vegan. It's expensive, so we won't be doing it regularly, but was perfect for a special occasion.
