The three of us went to Avenida Brazil for our Thanksgiving meal. We were very surprised that the parking lot had very few cars which, of course, meant very few customers. Once inside, the furnishings and the ambiance were very nice and a bit upscale. The waitstaff was excellent and attended to our every need. They prepared my mother’s lamb chops with no salt just as she wanted. The meat offerings were pretty much the same as the other Brazilian steakhouses however they did have scallops also which was a nice addition. The salad bar was good but had fewer selections than some other places.
The food here was good but to all three of us, it wasn’t quite enough to beat Fogo and TDB. The little cheese bread was not as good, the potatoes were chunky instead of mashed and buttery, and some of the beef was over salted. The experience wasn’t bad at all but for us, we probably won’t take the long drive to eat there again. If we lived closer, maybe we would try it again.
Just a note: an unexpected tip was included on the bill. I believe it was for 18% with a space to add more to the tip if you wish, which I did because the service was great.

We appreciate your comments about our food offerings. I'd like to clarify that we serve au gratin potatoes, not mashed potatoes, which explains the difference in consistency you noticed compared to other steakhouses. This is a deliberate choice to offer a unique dining experience.
