A fresh, modern sushi experience in the Bellaire Triangle featuring innovative Japanese cuisine from reknowned chef Yoshi Katsuyama.

Guests can expect to enjoy fresh fish daily in a vairety of nigiri, maki, and sashimi preparations alongside traditional Japanese favorites from the kitchen. Aya features an innovative cocktail program, as well as an extensive selection of wine, sake, and Japanese whisky.

For the full Aya experience, enjoy chef's multi-course omakase option alongside hand-selected pairings including sake and wine.

Decor and service exceptional Sushi not all pieces was fresh and a few was smelly and did not taste fresh Our waiter was very attentive Restaurant was not crowded but took forever to get our food

Food quality and service was excellent. Waiter was thorough in describing options and menu. Sushi quality and preparation was excellent. Would recommend. Definitely planning to go back again.

markedly, disappointing. The food was fresh, but the presentation was simply average and the none of the courses are something that created a wow sensation that's so often occurs with an Omakase menu. The server was not adequately, educated in the dishes that were being presented.

One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Houston. Our favorites: the nigiri (salmon, kanpachi, medai, hamachi), the Momo roll and the cauliflower tempura. Great drinks and delicious desserts- the apple pie and green tea tiramisu. They also have a great lunch menu - we’ve brought our kids out for this.

It was a great, 2-hour, 21-bite course for a reasonable price (around $160 per person). It was our first omakase experience, so we didn't have another place to compare it to. Nevertheless, we had a great time and Chef Yoshi was wonderful. This is such a great place for a special event. We were there for our wedding anniversary. The room temperature was too cold for us and we did ask for the AC to be turned down a bit and they did. I was still cold coming out of there, however. This one is subjective, since even the Chef was sweating, so he probably needed that temperature to be cold more than I did. Food was excellent!

Best sushi spot in Houston no questions asked! Chef is an experience every sushi consumer needs to experience! Leslie is an incredibly sweet manager and the servers always treat me with such amazing service!

I went in to Aya Sushi on a Wednesday evening to pick up something quick to take home. When I went inside the place took my breath away and I was delighted with a delightful hostess, Ashley. The staff here are not only engaging, full of joy to be of assistance to you, but they are very knowledgable about the menu. I was so swept off my feet I stayed at the bar to eat my food instead. The bar tender, Eric, offered for me to taste some varieties of sake that I had never imagined and I was swooned with the olive tasting sake. The impression of the place was so palatable that I decided to come back in the same week to celebrate with my aunt and her husband on her new job. We were treated with the utmost care and consideration! The food was extraordinary and the service was a rare gem. The bar tender, Eric, was delightful and even offered our table a tasting of a very nice red wine with a buttery finish. Thanks Eric! As a surprise at the end of our meal, the waiter brought us a complimentary celebration desert! Thank you staff and chefs for making the night special! The levels of details, consideration in demeanor from the staff, and the excellent food are all worth raving about!!!
