Service was great. The mushroom pancakes were amazing. Ordered the veggie mixed grill for my entree but it lacked flavor and the veggies were undercooked.

We had our work Christmas and end of year celebration at Babushka’s and everything was wonderful! I had the Curious Salmon which was delish! Others had the Sampler Platter, which samples 4 different Russian dishes. The service was superb!

This is by far one of our favorite restaurants in Florida! The flavors are so authentic and make us fall in love with our ethnic food a bit more every time. The service is also always impeccable and their suggestions are always on point.

I made a reservation here for my birthday and was so excited to come! I’ve been talking about this place for months and thrilled to try properly made Ukrainian cuisine, remind me of growing up. I made the reservation for four people, the UFC fight was going on so traffic was crazy and my other two friends were going to be late which I told the hostess, saying we will get started. after only a minute or so of waiting she seated us at a great table, but after about 10 minutes with no water or anything my husband asks the server taking care of the table next to us what is going on, and this other server comes up quite reluctantly after another few minutes, no apology or anything and takes our drink order (n/a drinks and sparkling water) after another ten minutes he is gone and my husband asks hostess again for service, not only am I embarrassed sitting in the middle of this restaurant with not even water, now it has been a full half hour, our friends are still struggling finding parking, we decide to leave and tell the hostess on our way out. She apologizes, we say it’s okay and we go outside to wait for a ride out. While we are waiting, they brought out two glasses of sparkling wine to where we were waiting by the parking lot. I understand the gesture, but we are both in recovery which is why we ordered mocktails, and one of many reasons why I chose this place. I am beyond sad I didn’t get to try Babushka, and it really messed up my birthday plans, as there was no place to get in at 9pm on a very busy Saturday after we left. :(

We generally love the Hyde Park location, however last night was simply mediocre at best. We both had the sampler platter, usually very good but everything was overcooked. My partner had an old fashioned and they delivered to the table with a cocktail cherry, not the proper cherry, for such an expensive drink, it should be made properly. They were unable to offer a test of wine, as they would have to open a “new bottle” and then possibly not sell a glass. Frankly, for $185 dinner bill for two, it could have been so much better.
