   Always enjoy a stop at Bacari Sherman Oaks. It’s nice to have a spot to go with a good vibe and great cocktails following earlier evening plans. It was cold out side and cozy in the bar with the fireplace rolling and 3 piece group playing live music. You all never disappoint

   Ran late because of traffic but hostess looked out for us and made sure we had a great table. Such an affordable, yet high quality experience- not easy to find that combination in SoCal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a group or family. Each plate is around $15 and it’s normal to get 3 plates, allowing you to try multiple choices in one experience. So, if you are looking for a quality experience with a group, this would be the perfect choice!

   The food and drinks are always top tier. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

   The service was great and the food was delicious, but there was a bit of a wait on the food. Fortunately, the staff acknowledged the delay and compensated us, which we really appreciated. We were happy with how they handled the situation.

    Where to begin? The HOSTESS! The absolutely lovely Madeline with the 1970’s cotuer blouse. She greeted us and took notice of the special request note I put on my Open Table reservation where I mentioned this was a night out with my bff and that we needed a special place to catch up and people watch with ambiance and not only were we seated in the BEST cutest spot on the patio, but she sent us Prosecco on the house for our “BFF night”! 🥰🥂 Then the night continued to get better, our SERVER 🙌🏻 David (Benji) M. What a sweet and thoughtful person. Super attentive, even though for a while he was manning multiple sections on his own, we never felt neglected. He made our night even more special with free dessert! Which was absolutely divine. Eventually we had a new server, Sam, and she was also super sweet and excellent at making everyone feel taken care of. We had the Cauliflower, the brussel sprouts, the burrata with pesto (omg), pasilla pepper pasta and beat gnocchi. Every dish was unbelievably delicious and fresh and unique! The desert, the “best cake ever” and the bread pudding were sooooo good. As the sun set and night came on, the manager (I believe his name was Les?) came by and checked on us and lit our table candle. The heaters came on in the patio and the other guests around us were all dressed in various styles but all looked fabulous for a night out. No one came here looking schlubby and it really added to the atmosphere. What a night! What a setting! What service! We highly recommend this restaurant. Best service I’ve had in years. And the food…. I’d go back to try more things because everything we had was “mmmmm” worthy.
