Don't let the Chinatown location fool you, Bacaro is the quintessential Italian Tavern. This basement restaurants' dim candlelight and rustic decor make the restaurant feel both casual, yet romantic. Owners Joseph Bonacore and Thomas Soluri wanted to create an establishment that provided top notch cuisine and great service in a casual atmosphere. Bacaro is just that. The menu at Bacaro is full of authentic Italian cuisine with a modern touch. Choose from one of the many small plate options, including pulled pork and broccoli rabe tacos, zucchini fries or bruschetta. There are a variety of pizza options, pasta entrees and vegetable options as well. However, no visit to Bacaro is complete without sampling the signature Pasta Nero.
