The Backstage Pass Pop-up Series brings regional flavor to The Orion Amphitheater allowing chefs to showcase their dishes in a world-class venue backstage setting. Located in the Artist Dining room and offering dinner and brunch options, fans of music and food alike are invited to enjoy backstage tours in addition to their meal.

The second pop-up restaurant in this new series features Chef Adyre Mason of The Veggie. Named Huntsville’s 2022 Culinary Business of the Year, The Veggie serves vegan versions of familiar foods providing plant based consumers with dedicated vegan options of the foods they love, while also appealing to the “veg-curious” with this relatable cuisine. The Veggie’s menu is 100% vegan, anchored by fresh and scratch made salads, seasoning blends, and sauces.

Join us for a three course dinner on February 25 for $60 per person, and a three course brunch on February 26 for $40 per person. Children are welcome at brunch and can enjoy it for $25 (12 and younger).

    The Pop-up was a disappointment. The food was good but very slow. However our main complaint is with the Orion Pop-up itself. This should be paid for in advance. At the end, they started the tour but half of us had not paid so we had to wait to check out. I believe a few tables left without paying. By the time we had closed the checks, there were no employees to be found and we did not get a tour. We had to find our own way out of the building.

    If you have a chance to experience a back-stage pop up at the Orion Amphitheater I highly recommend doing so. Our experience with Chef Adyre Mason was outstanding and the tour of the facility was a nice touch after the meal.

    We were disappointed with the pop-up. The food came out at room temp, the amuse, oysters, fish, and steak were all the same temp and seemed like it was prepared long before we ordered it. It was the first pop up, so it could be they were working out the kinks.

    This was a very unique experience put on by the Orion Amphitheater. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the tour after.

    First, it was really great to get a backstage tour of the Orion. The view from the stage worth the price of admission. Second, The attention and service from the staff was exemplary. Based on service alone will go to the next back stage pop up. Third, Chef Josh just flat nailed it. With food like this EVERY great artist will make trip to the Orion.
