If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

All patrons have two hours to dine. Last call for food and alcohol is 15 minutes prior to your seating end time. Any late arrivals will be accommodated; however, this will decrease your dining time as we cannot extend any extra time at the table past the two hours allotted. You will still be charged in full regardless of arrival time. Seating options from 11a to 1p and 1:30p to 3:30p. Guests to finish EACH COURSE BEFORE ORDERING THE NEXT, otherwise limited to 3-courses.

    Food was truly incredible. Bread, despite high expectations from reading other reviews, kicked off the meal in the best possible way. It was warm, had great butters, was chewy, and delicious. We all liked our entrees (two filets, salmon and sea bass), but the stars of the show were the sides. The street corn was was sweet and savory with the right amount of heat. All of us kept taking another spoon full while we complained about being full. The Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and pleasing. Finally, the drink menu was innovative and delicious. I would highly recommend, but be warned, the noise level is high.

    We had a fabulous family gathering with all our adult children in town for TG. Service & food was amazing as always & we’ll never get tired of “Bread is Life”!!!! Yum yum

    Food prep and quality was very good. Can’t really say anything bad about this great restaurant very flavorful sides cooked perfectly. This is definitely a top restaurant in the cities.

    This was my 2nd time here. The chicken wings were fantastic. As good as monte carlos. My steak was not the best for 100 plus, dollars. I have had wague steak before, and this wasn't even close. I should have sent it back. Service was outstanding. Made reservations and got right in. I would go again and stick with the filet my husband got.

    This was our first visit to Baldamar. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. I knew the menu looked good but we had no idea what to expect going in. It was one of the top experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, sexy, and fun. We were greeted at our table with some confetti and a birthday card. Mason was our server and he made the experience so special. He took the time to walk us through the menu and the specials and offered us personal recommendations which we needed since everything looked wonderful! We had the holiday charcuterie board which we absolutely devoured. My husband ordered the prime ribeye and I had the miso sea bass- delicious! We will definitely be back and recommend Baldamar to any of our friends and family looking for a top-of-the-line chop house experience without the traditional pretentiousness.

    I go to Baldamar frequently because the quality of the food, beverages and service is consistently very good. Yesterday's Thanksgiving buffet was the exception to my usual experience at Baldamar. Even though my reservation was made for 6:00 and I arrived on time, there was a substantial wait to be seated. Once we were offered a table, it was a hightop in the bar area that was located in the path of the entry door and also an area where customers were stacked up waiting to be seated. I passed on this table and was forced to wait even longer for an acceptable table. All of this could have been tolerated had the quality of the food been up to par. It was pretty bad compared to meals that I've enjoyed there. Dried out turkey breast and stuffing, canned ham, greasy smoked salmon. The desserts looked and tasted like they came from Target. The best part of my meal was the cold shrimp and the glass of Malbec that I ordered. I will continue to go to Baldamar for the quality of the food and the service during regular business hours but I will never go there again for a special events such as the Thanksgiving buffet. Two thumbs down.

    The food was really off this year and the buffet set up created too many traffic jams. Honestly disappointed. Staff were great as usual though!

    Great food, and the service was outstanding. This was out first time here, and we came for the Thanksgiving brunch and was very pleased with everything. We look forward to coming back for the regular dining menu.
