If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

    This place is overrated and over priced. The food is decent but not surprisingly good. Our lunch sandwiches are good but the fries are way too oily (almost disgusting). The portion of dessert is huge and overly sweet. That said, the banana cheesecake is rememberable. Overall is a decent experience. Considering there is not many good restaurants around Roseville area, I will still go back Baldamar for special occasions.

    Every single employee was smiling and happy to help. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The table was decorated for my birthday (noted in the reservation). Our food came out fast, hot, and tasted delicious! Some items are pricey, but they are worth it. We made a reservation for my sister's birthday in February and my belly is excited to go back!

    Food and service were outstanding! Especially the “bread of life”! And brussels sprouts! The salted caramel ice cream was rich and heavenly!

    We went to Baldamar on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. We made a not in the reservation that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and from the moment we checked in they made a point to wish us a happy anniversary. There was a cute card and decorations at the table too, which was such a nice touch. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The food blew us away. We each had the filet mignon, perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. We also had brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and they were divine. Also, the bread is life was to die for. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, especially if you are celebrating something special. All the staff are amazing and it's clear they want their guests to have an amazing experience.
