We enjoyed another wonderful dinner at the Schoolhouse. The service is friendly, efficient and professional and the ambiance is so quaintly historic and charming. The beet salad is a favorite appetizer. Our main course was the steak frites, with which we substituted the thinner fries for the steak fries. One cut was tough and the other very good. That's the only reason that the food rating was 4 instead of 5. We will most definitely be back to our favorite neighborhood spot!

Charming “hidden” spot with great ambiance, good food and service. Worth the drive if not nearby in scenic area and located inside a historic schoolhouse.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was charming, the staff was both attentive and generous, and they really went the extra mile to ensure we had a special anniversary dinner!

Fantastic dining experience. Service and food were superb. It’s a small restaurant in a charming converted schoolhouse. Staff were attentive and friendly. The one negative is the noise level. If you’re looking for a quiet dining experience this might not be the right fit. For me, this is a great choice to take someone for a special occasion or someone visiting from out of town.

My experience at this restaurant continues to evolve. Just when I think it can’t get any better, Angela and her team, set the bar even higher. The food. The atmosphere. The service. It’s all extraordinary.
