The BANG menu is crafted to unite people, drawing influence from Asian flavours to redefine Thai street food. Seasonally driven with sustainable ingredients on show, the menu is a sophisticated fusion of culture and gastronomy, where traditional Thai recipes are transformed using produce sourced from Melbourne and Victoria.

Executive Chef, Justin Dingle-Garcyyia's extensive travels and culinary influences have brought him back to his native Melbourne, where he has infused his international expertise into the flavours, alongside championing sustainability and locality, forging close relationships of Victoria’s vast array of growers and producers.

    Start with a spritz and end with a boozy dark rum trifle. In between? Blow Torch Marlin swimming in kaffir, lemongrass, and green apple broth, followed by Crispy Duck Breast with blackberry brandy sauce and a raw Som Yum salad. A menu so good, it might outshine the season itself.

    Overall a really good experience, delicious food and very good service, friendly, attentive. The set up and fit out makes for a really nice ambiance, highly recommended!

    4th time at Bang, food and service assists very nice. First time for dinner and have to say - disappointing to note prices are significantly up between dinner and lunch - for the same portion ! $24 for 1/2 doz oysters at lunch but $32 at dinner ?? It’s not right . Short rib $88 at lunch and $120 at dinner?? Not good !

    This was my third visit to Bang. The food and service as always, were terrific. The DJ was a nice touch on a Sunday afternoon too. Will definitely be back.

    We chose Bang to celebrate a birthday milestone. Having great food and ambience was a must. They also were very careful with my son’s nut allergy - having Thai fusion was delicious but usually comes with nuts. Highly recommend this little gem. The food was a delight. We will be back for that and the cool vibes / service.

    Had an amazing time at BANG! Really lovely space at the new StandardX hotel. The food was really good with generous portions and the cocktails were perfect but what made the place even more special was the staff. They offered a great service from the get go & they even engaged our 10 year old boy with conversation. Highly recommend!
