Nestled within London's premier eco-conscious hotel, the Rafael on the Left Bank, Banyan on the Thames presents a sophisticated dining experience with views of the river Thames.

Enjoying your meal al fresco in the summer months adds another gentle element of gracefulness to your day. It is a romantic setting and a great family place where children can watch helicopter landings as they eat from their own tastefully developed children’s menu.

The menu features a delightful fusion of European, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines, showcasing culinary artistry at its best. Signature dishes include duck confit accompanied by a ginger and lime sweet and sour sauce, a mango and papaya salad topped with curry chicken, and the traditional Barcelona fish soup. Celebrated my birthday here and had a really lovely time. The food was delicious as was my strawberry daiquiri. The ambience was pleasant and the service was fantastic. Thank you!

The 60£/ pp Christmas dinner was over-priced. The food was good, but not better than that. The decor is all over the place and so is the menu. I cannot really tell what this place wants to be.

Four of us had an absolutely wonderful lunch . It was a birthday celebration. The service was excellent. The food was good. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant

The food was okay, served by a very nice gentleman however the actual restaurant (we sat in the covered outside area) was not inviting. Definitely needs updating, tidying and heating. Very shabby. Wires hanging off the wall. Not a good look.

Good food, very fresh. Restaurant could do with updating a little to creat better ambiance. Rib eye steak is amazing!! Prices are okay. Staff were friendly.

This is my favorite restaurant, and for good reason. The service, the food, and the ambiance are all exceptional. The waitstaff are incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every detail is perfect. The food is prepared to an outstanding standard, consistently exceeding my expectations. Whenever I'm unsure of where to dine, I inevitably find myself returning to this beloved spot. It truly never disappoints & will be introducing my parents to this restaurant this week for my mums birthday

The most awful restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of dining at. I ordered the “Special Wagyu Burger” which cost £17 and this was served with “burger sauce” which turned out to be mayonaise. The burger itself was watery and flavourless, was topped with slices of cold cheese and was on a flakey bun which you could tell had been frozen. My partner ordered the pepperoni pizza which had a pool of grease sat on top and a soggy base. Shame because of the great location and the hotel stay was a good one. This restaurant lets it down massively and should not be associated with a 5* rating at all, it’s a farce.

Plastic flowers and greeny everywhere didn't give it a good ambiance. I had pasta with was slimy and not nice. They sort take off Bill though If your looking for somewhere romantic this isn't the place but for a quick meal it's ok
