(ONE AND A HALF HOUR TIME LIMIT)

Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although the staff were great(!) and the ambience was lovely; the food was mediocre and pricey! I think the prices were location based. For instance, a shrimp bao plate, with 6 pieces the size of tater tots were $26+.

Thanks for the feedback. We recommend coming in during happy hour our late night (Thurs-Sat) to enjoy these dishes for $8.88 instead of their regular price of $15.88. We also have daily specials to enjoy as well! Hope to see you again soon!

The food was great, but service was too slow. We bugeted 90 minutes for dinner before a show at the theater. We ordered 10-15 minutes after we sat down and ordered a drink then waited. We finally got our food with 15 minutes left before we had to leave, one of our dumpling orders had to be canceled be cause it had not arrived before we had to leave. I do plan on going back, great food-just plan on more time.

3 weeks in a row I’ve been here because I enjoy the food and the vibe so much. The Kobe Beef dumplings are the best thing and also the Short Rib Spicy noodle is also a must try! The baos are fantastic. It’s little pricey, but the whole experience makes up for it and the live DJ is such a nice touch.

We made a reservation for 5:30, got a text at 5:05 to check in as our table was ready. We did so via text, got to the restaurant and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes to be sat. Disappointed at the lack of chicken options on the menu and the chicken dumplings that were on the menu we're not available.

We spent our 29th anniversary here and had an AMAZING meal. We hadn't been before and Skylar did a wonderful job going over everything, including his "not to miss" dishes and EVERYTHING was perfect. Both the pork and Kobe beef dumplings were among the best we have ever had and our meals were just as delicious. We had a few of the cocktails and they were also wonderful! It's always a risk spending a special evening at a restaurant you've never been to before, but I am so glad we took the chance because it was the perfect start to our anniversary evening and we will be back!

Duck was nearly inedible, fatty and tough. Everything else was delicious but came out at odd intervals.
