Hidden in the upstairs of its sibling restaurant Avelo; in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street, Bar Avelo serves up cocktails, wine, and other drinks. In an intimate Victorian inspired space, it features dramatic arched ceilings and lush velvet textiles. Bar Avelo boasts an a la carte Tapas menu from the same creative mind of Avelo Restaurant's Head Chef Fernando Anrango, and serves up some of the finest plant-based bites in the city.

If you wish to dine with us for our 5 or 8 course Tasting menu, please book at Avelo Restaurant. We do NOT offer the Tasting menu at Bar Avelo. For further questions, please contact the restaurant.

    Exceptional food and drinks. Beautiful space. The mushroom adobo skewers are a must have, and the spice cake is worth saving room for (chef’s kiss!)

    A lovely experience on every level. The food is fantastic, the service excellent and warm, and the setting is very intimate and charming. It has the feel of a secret refuge. Also, I am an omnivore, not a vegan, but I did not miss my usual fare at all. I was utterly satisfied. Bravo Bar Avelo!

    Great cocktail bar experience with unique and intentional drinks for everyone. They do everything to their best ability and make a lot of key ingredients in-house. Will definitely be back.

    We had a great time. I tried two amazing cocktails and my friend had wine. We tried the happy hour tapas - the fried mushrooms and empanada. Both were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, conscious of allergies and fun. Ambiance of the upstairs is a 10/10. It’s so good I am ready to go back again. Eden was an awesome server. And the bartender (Dan?) was 🙌
