The food was incredible, and we enjoyed the variety of dishes to choose from. Portion sizes varied quite a bit from dish to dish, and some dishes were much larger than pictured, which was a pleasant surprise for sharing. Each dish was well prepared and presented beautifully.
We were relatively disappointed by the atmosphere, considering the $10/person “experience” charge. The waitstaff wasn’t dressed for the theme, and some banged-up cardboard cutouts, a giant blowup Jabba and a couple wall hangings didn’t make that extra $40 spent worth it for our party. The website boasted photo ops, but we were led quickly to our private area and not told about any other areas we could see.
Service was very sparse and hands off. We only saw our server, Jim, in quick bursts to drop off food and pick up plates. He didn’t explain the menu, and seemed rushed whenever we used our call button. We couldn’t tell if he was stretched thin or just uninterested.
We didn’t appreciate the payment system at all. It would have been easier for our party of two couples to just hand over two credit cards and split the bill, instead of the confusion of all paying for our own stuff separately.
We’ll likely come back to dine inside; I would caution anyone against purchasing an “experience” of themed dining here, as for us it just was meh and not worth the extra $40 overall.
