Bar Gigi is a small space, with share plates, located in the old Halibut Hut building on Edmonton Trail and 9th Ave NE.


Due to our tiny size...we set aside the allotted amount of time for each party size:
2-4 people: 2 hours
5+ people: 2.5 hours

                                Every dish and cocktail was amazing. The service was outstanding. Worth the wait to get in. Gotta try the mezcal negroni and Our Friend Jeff!

                                Outstanding food service and atmosphere. Anastasia and Dani provided an amazing, elegant service and touches throughout our experience food was better than I even remembered from my last visit. 11/10

                                Wow! Food was great, not pretentious, just damn good. Service was awesome and having the owners present is nice. The intimate setting is nice change of pace.

                                I’ve been waiting for a reservation for a while at Bar Gigi. It was well worth the wait. The food was beyond anything I’ve had in the past. Every bite was filled with complex flavors and textures. I would recommend this to anyone. The staff was fantastic. They were friendly, helpful and very mindful. Will definitely be coming back.

                                The food is amazing here! Scallops are to die for and the prawn toast is fabulous! Reservations are hard to come by but worth it.!

                                That was the most incredible dinner we’ve had in this city. Started off with the mussels. What a dish. It’s so incredibly delicious. And the bread was incredible. Shrimp toast was so full flavour. The ravioli was outstanding but the spaghetti stole the show. The layers of flavour was wild. Couldn’t get enough. The wine was so good. The service was so sweet and on point the kitchen paced out the meal perfectly. Canr wajt to go back. This will be a dinner I talk about for years.
