The Hotel Fauchere features three dining venues. Our elegantly-appointed Delmonico Room with its vintage Hudson River School paintings, piano and light-filled sunroom, our Bar Louis, with cozy booths, a contemporary vibe and the famous gigantic photograph of Andy Warhol and John Lennon behind the bar and our heated front porch with awnings and wind break curtains . Please note venue preference, if you have one, and we will accommodate as we are able (not all venues are open at all times). The restaurant pays homage to our founder, Louis Fauchere, who began working as a master chef at Delmonico's in New York City in 1848. He opened the Fauchere in 1852 and it was run by his descendants for 124 years. We look forward to welcoming you.

Bar Louis and the Delmonico Room at the Hotel Fauchere will be offering local cuts of Post family Farm's Prime Rib au jus for only $58 with garlic pommes puree, horseradish cream sauce and roasted Brussel sprouts. And our selections of sparkling wine and champagne specials will make the perfect accompaniment for this tasty night. We start the night off early with reservations beginning at 4:30pm.

Elevate your evening with our enhanced heating for optimum coziness and bluetooth sound. - Deposit is nonrefundable for cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation - Each Igloo dining experience serves up to 6 people and is only $300 plus drinks, tax and gratuity. Maximum of 8 guests - 20% gratuity will be applied to final bill - Igloos are heated but can still be chilly, dress accordingly. Cancellation of service possible when weather expected to dip below 20F. Call to confirm.

I needed a last minute Christmas Eve reservation as my son surprised me from out of town and I had nothing planned. Food was terrible. Lukewarm at best. Limited menu which I definitely understand on a holiday, but the main choice was burger or vegetarian burger. All 3 of us ordered burger medium well - 2 of them were not cooked at all (blood on plate) and had to go back for another 15 minutes. They tasted no better than a diner burger and for the price we paid for the meal it was extremely disappointing. We were not there at "peak" time so that wasn't an excuse - there were literally 2 other tables occupied when we arrived. The only positive thing was the waitress. She was amazing and sweet and absolutely horrified when she saw the burgers and couldn't apologize enough. If I could have given the entire cost of the bill directly to her I would have.

Amazing ambiance perfect for my husbands birthday dinner. Very intimate setting and friendly attentive staff. The food was amazing. Everyone wished my partner a happy birthday and that was so nice.

Very nice restaurant. From the appetizers to the desert, the food was excellent. There were 4 of us, and all had different choices. Everything was great. Service was average, not on par with the food, but not an issue, just not as good as the food. Would recommend going. We will be back.

We’ve been dining here over 20 years and always been very happy. Last night my entree was served cold and I gently asked to have it warmed up. The server was not only apologizing but they gave us two desserts “on the house.” To me that is classy. PS my dinner was delicious

The hamburger was superb!! Never had one that tender. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and she was very happy with her burger - she said it was the best she ever had. My order was a bit delayed but the maître d' sent me some complimentary wine. The mussels and oysters were also very good. A very nice evening!

My sister and I had dinner at the Hotel Fauchere on Sat. Oct. 19th. We dined on the porch as the day was very mild. We had a wonderful time. We relaxed over a cocktail, and people watched. When it was time to place our order, our server Jen was so knowledgeable about the various dishes, she made it easy for us to decide. We started with the sushi pizza, a favorite of ours. My sister had the shrimp and pasta and i had the butternut squash soup and the nicoise salad. While we were there, the evening became a bit chilly. Jen immediately turned up the heater and turned down the vinyl wind shades to make sure we were comfortable. Our meal was delicious and the service terrific. We had a great time!

Our server was lovely and really tried her best but they were understaffed and also out of a few menu items that made things less than ideal. This was for dinner. Thank god you kept the amazing breakfast yogurt. We loved seeing that again and devoured it.
