BARCA is Old Town Alexandria's newest riverfront neighborhood restaurant. Located in Robinson, BARCA (Spanish for boat) styles shipyard chic and Catalonian coastal influence into a waterfront Pier and Wine Bar. Both indoor and outdoor locales serve up Spanish-Mediterranean small plates, wine, sangria, and cocktails plus weekend brunch.

    Sat outside for lunch ... the sunny was shining, the wine was good, the food was unique and yummy as always ... and the service was never far away. Love Barca :-)

    We are a couple in our 50s. We met friends last night at Barca and we were served RAW hamburger in their kebabs. When I complained to one of the servers, she was very doubtful and put-off. I told her I wanted a manager, who came over and offered to take charges off our bill. The gesture was appreciated, but today my husband and I are ill with stomach upset and nausea. I'm posting here as a public health warning: if you order meat in this establishment, check it before you bite into it.

    Excellent location on the river with gorgeous view. Wide variety of tapas selections so there is something for everyone. Three items made a lovely lunch for two.

    Nice waterfront bar restaurant. The food was good. Nice variety of tapas to choose from. Did not like the Sangria, I could tell they were pre made and was very watery. But the location and view were nice.
