Located four blocks from the malecon, here you will have the best view of the bay in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
The chef/owner, William Carballo, sees to it that every guest in his restaurant is happy, offering generously served dishes with fresh, high quality ingredients at reasonable prices. it is recommended to order for the entire table and share dishes family style.
With two or three tapas per person, you can enjoy an authentic culinary adventure.
They are always updating the menu and offer daily specials. Also enjoy delicious salads and scrumptious desserts such as the chocolate profiterols and homemade ice cream.

    Wow wow!! What a fantastic experience. As soon as we arrived off of the elevator we were greeted with a friendly welcome smile. The Margaritas are phenomenal. The service was outstanding as usual. The shrimp bisque was superb. The beets with cream cheese was amazing as were the sizzling garlic shrimp. The shrimp were large fresh and perfect. Chicken skewers were tender snd perfectly seasoned. The banana with chocolate and caramel sauce was the perfect end to a superb meal. This place is a jewel not to be missed.

    Barcelona tapas has been one of our top favorite restaurants in PV. Tonight was just a reassurance. Great food (profiteroles being like a gift of god), amazing service and a beautiful location with outstanding views. Looking forward for a future visit.

    We love this place and have been going there for years. The view is the beat. Service was great. Only retraction was the gazpacho this visit. More cucumbers please. Chicken croquettes and beef skewers were awesome. I am a fan of the patatas bravas. Chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream was delicious. I remember always the Basil ice cream. We will be back!!

    Open kitchen, good ambience, nice night view. Food is authentic. It is not on the beach. I probably misunderstood the description when I made the reservation. When we first arrived, there were trash piled up on the surrounding streets. We thought we went to the wrong place. But what we did not like the most was our waiter sounded he was following a play book trying to push dishes on us as well as asking for tips towards the end. We ordered more dishes than we needed and a full $45 tips. But all I am saying is that the intentional “asking” takes off the enjoyment of our dinner.

    The service was fantastic and the food was great. We had the mixta paella, as the main but the jamon was very good.

    I have been coming to Barcelona Tapas for many years and always make a point of visiting when I'm in the area. Probably my favorite restaurant in the world for food, service and the amazing view! I appreciated being able to make a reservation from Canada! We were early and appreciated that they were able to give us a table an hour before our reservation to enjoy the view and some drinks!

    Barcelona Tapas has delicious foods and views to match. Cost has escalated since years past…as has everywhere though. Beverage service could be improved.
