Bardea, pronounced: bar-DAY-ah, is the Italian term for "the goddess of food and drink." The stunning, 120-seat restaurant utilizes ingredients from local Delaware Valley farms and purveyors, and features modern interpretations of traditional Italian and Mediterranean dishes. In 2019, Bardea Food & Drink received a semifinalist nomination in the James Beard Foundation's "Best New Restaurant" category.

However, there is room for improvement in the service, particularly regarding the efficiency of taking orders and reducing wait times. While it is understandable that the preparation of high-quality meals requires time, a more streamlined process for placing orders would enhance the overall experience.

Food was ok, but disappointing, given what we expected. Oversalted fish and eggplant parm was little tough and chewy and sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Way overpriced for what how good it was, just disappointed in the flavor. Service was great, but charging 25 to valet park after dropping 200 on dinner is a little excessive. Tables incredibly close with club music playing too loudly.

The food, drink and decor is the star and Pino and Scott were so friendly and attentive! The patrons rounded out the vibe of a great Saturday night! Cant wait to come back!

I loved the flair with the cuisine. I enjoyed how busy it was actually too. But by far, our server Jacob made our first time experience here way more enjoyable! I’ll be returning and will ask to sit in his section :)

The valet parking cost was outrageous. Not a good way to set the tone. Beyond that, everything else was wonderful

Branzino was outstanding. Service was outstanding. Entire waitstaff extremely attentive. The restaurant was full but noise level was fine. The chef accommodated my husband’s allergy and prepared a traditional calamari for him and the one on the menu for the rest of us. Will definitely go again. The smoked old fashioned was delicious.

The food was outstanding. Best calamari I have ever had. Meats were tender. Staff was awesome and attentive. You need to go and experience it

We love everything about Bardea from the small plate selections to the great bourbon selection and cocktails. Additionally, we had great service from the staff and the waiter Jessie.
