This NYE we were looking for an experience to celebrate the New Year with friends and also the anniversary of our engagement. Bardea Steak did not disappoint. Our table opted for the Butcher's Feast so that we could sample cuts of beef that we'd never try otherwise. It was outstanding. Everyone in our group loved their food. Our server Luke was also top notch! If you have a special occasion, Bardea Steak is a great choice AND it's in Delaware.

Entrees came out at different times. My steak was cold when it came out, so was probably sitting in the kitchen for a bit. Lamb Gnocchi was delicious. My steak was under seasoned. Sauce was good, but overall pretty bland. Steaks need salt. I don’t understand why they charge for water. Also, I know restaurant surcharges are trendy now, but just raise your entree prices by $1. People will pay it and it will cause less confusion and will avoid the feeling of being “nickled and dimed.” Great atmosphere but probably won’t go back.

Bardea Steak surpassed all of our expectations! Every single dish was outstanding. The pork tostada and the elk meatballs as starters were the perfect portion and full of flavor. We did the Butcher Steak to try 6 different steaks. Best steak we’ve ever had and every cut was different but delicious! Service from the bartenders, to server Jason, to food runners as exceptional. Can’t wait to come back!

We were a party of eight with diverse food interests. Three people had the hanger steak and one person had filet mignon. The filet came out 10 minutes after all the other entrees. All the sides came out promptly except the Mac and cheesecake, which came out even after the filet. It happened to be the entree for the youngest member of our group, a 14 year old. At a high end restaurant like this, I resent the 3% surcharge being added to the bill. If a hanger steak costs $32 why not just charge $33. No one would object. Likewise if Mac and cheese costs $17 why not just charge $18.

Our waiter Myron was fantastic. He was attentive, answered all our questions and was very personable and enhanced our experience. I do not like cauliflower but this one is great and their Mac & cheese is so good. The mushrooms are also a great accompaniment to the steak. If you love aBobbie hoagie, try the bao buns. . They have a great Happy Hour to supplement your steak order. Beware, they add a 3% surcharge to your bill.

I took my husband for his birthday, and it was just so amazing. The staff was lovely, the food was incredible! Our favorite dish was definitely the Elk Meatballs, they were tender and had an amazing flavor! The atmosphere was very nice. I would definitely take my husband back again for anything.
