I booked a table for food, and was contacted the day before my booking to explain that they would be running a limited menu of pizzas and fries. I was asked if we were happy to still go ahead with the booking. We agreed that we were happy with that. Arrived to be told that no food was being served, which the manager found quite amusing. He even suggested he will go to a kebab shop and get us a pizza. No apology given.

We arrived at 5.45pm for food and drinks but didn't get served until about 6.20pm. The food then hadn't turned up by 7.05pm and when we asked how long the food would be, we were told the kitchen could not confirm a time so we had to leave without food. The waitress we dealt with was very apologetic but it was frustrating leaving without food despite waiting 45 minutes after ordering.

Fantastic food & drinks at Barga. Really friendly service and we loved the cocktails! Definitely recommend, we had a great night!

We came in to have some food and watch the football as was advertised. However when we came in it was apparent there wasn't really a table reserved for us and we were seated in the corner and forgotten about entirely. We waited around 40 minutes before giving up and leaving. We understand busy periods hence the wait however we weren't approached at any point and if we'd have waited another 10/15 minutes the kitchen would've been shut anyway. The last time we visited we left disappointed but thought we'd give it another chance and unfortunately we regretted our decision once again.

When we arrived there was no table Reserved for us even though we had booked through open table. The waitress then directed us to a table of 4 even though there was 5 of us. She then sat us at a table for 10 people. After a few minutes she came and advised that we had to move as there was a larger party coming in and they needed that table. We finally got sat at a table around the corner which we were happy with as there was a lot of space around and not many more people so it was quiet. The staff then proceeded to carry tables and chairs over the top of us to fill that space which meant we were then crammed into the corner with another 3 tables. When we ordered drinks, only half of them came and we had to ask the staff again for the remaining drinks. The food wasn’t great either. Again some things we had ordered never made the table. The chicken pakora was greasy and chewy. Pizzas were undercooked and the mac and cheese was bland. The salt and chilli fries were actually quite good though!

Had lunch at Barga, food was lovely and service was good, prices are very reasonable aswell!

Best pub in town to watch sport, great selection of drinks, really good food and friendly service. What's not to like!
