Barley & Boar is a cozy boutique pub located in downtown Atascadero. We distill our own liquor, brew our own beer, and craft our own delicious fare from fresh and local ingredients. Dinner is full service, and our bar is open until midnight.

Join us monthly as we change our menu to showcase what’s in season.

    Another wonderful dinner at Barley and Boar. Fried green tomatoes, potato salad, huge ribeye perfectly cooked and a knock your socks off salmon puttanesca. The crowning jewel was our server Darci. We were very lucky to get her as she was recently promoted and is now B&B's general manager. Congratulations Darci and thanks to all staff for giving Atascadero the overall best restaurant in the North County per New Times recent survey.

    We totally recommend this place. It is a bit pricey but the food is excellent. It's a noisy, pub-like atmosphere so keep that in mind if you'd rather go somewhere more romantic and subdued. We had wine but would like to return to try their ales and the late night happy hour by the fire.

    We had a wonderful evening at Barley and Boar! It was my husband's birthday and we sat at the countertop overlooking the kitchen. It was really nice to engage with the chefs. They responded to our inquisitiveness and were very friendly. Our server Darcy was so amiable and her assistant was too. Even the hostess was so friendly! This restaurant is above and beyond...they make you feel very special!
