   Had a call earlier on in the week changing our table to the bar as they had a group booking in restaurant. Had booked at the start of Feb so felt we'd been sacked off for a large group which would have been fine but the girl said "we shouldn't have taken the booking". Turns out to be a 16th birthday party and was horrendous. Bar was packed and very busy/noisy and we had the constant boom boom boom from the party. Couldn't have a proper conversation as no one could hear each other. Food was alright but feel the portion size was really mean. Rump of lamb was delicious but filled about half the plate and was gone in 5 minutes. Mixed grill again didn't even fill the round plate and was over cooked. Smallest mixed grill I'd ever seen. Overall was really disappointing and would make me think twice about coming back again

   Great value lunch special. Service much quicker than previous visit. Staff friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going again.

   Very busy but staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food was very good. Service was good did not have to wait too long. The young lady who served us was very helpful as we had just moved into the area, she told us about some of the things that they do in the pub.

   Waitress was very good. Bar staff less so. Food was fine. Bill was incorrect but easily corrected.

   A group of 10 of us went to The Barley Mow today to celebrate a 60th Birthday. Our server was excellent, very attentive and even helped us to put up some banners. The food was really good and we were amazed at the cost. Thankyou Barley Mow, excellent service.

    This was my second visit to The Barley Mow in Oakley. As my first visit with friends, the food was delicious, well presented, and the service was excellent. My lasagne and salad was probably the best I’ve ever had, My friends enjoyed, hunters chicken, pork belly and a small fish and chips. The coffee finally was super. Compliments to the chef and our server. She was delightful. I can’t wait to return. asap!!!!!!
