At Baro, we strive to bring you the unique flavours of South America that are inspired by the Latin kitchens of coastal countries from Colombia to Argentina. Our team brings you plates that are inspired from traditional dishes that have a unique spin on them, creating something entirely on it’s own.

Please note, our rooftop patio operates on a first come, first serve basis and does not accept reservations. We will be accepting walk-ins!

    Food was good. Service was bad, the first waitress was very short and not welcoming at all. Then, we waited an hour for our APPETIZERS. Once we said something, they were brought out shortly and my partner and I agreed that it must’ve been just a mistake. But then, when we got our bill, the waiter automatically added a 22% tip without us deciding for ourselves how much to give them. Horrible service and I would not go back.

    Amazing restaurant, the host staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the food is easily some of the best in Toronto. Will definetley be back

    We celebrated a birthday at Baro Toronto and opted for the Winterlicious menu. While the service was exceptional, unfortunately, the overall dining experience was a bit of a letdown. To start, I had the *ceviche de atun*. It was good—definitely not great, but it had a pleasant flavor. My partner went for the *chori papa*, and sadly, it was extremely under-seasoned. It lacked the depth of flavor we were expecting. For the main course, I ordered the *pulpo a la parrilla*. Unfortunately, it arrived ice-cold, and we had to send it back for a redo. When it came back, it was just okay in terms of flavor—nothing that wowed us. My partner chose the *pollo guisado*, which came with rice and beans. The chicken was absolutely delicious—soft, buttery, and well-seasoned—no complaints there. However, the rice and beans were another story. They were undercooked, crunchy, and lacked seasoning, including something as basic as salt. For dessert, things turned around! I ordered the *alfajores*, and my partner had the *churros*, both of which were *chef’s kiss*. These were the highlight of our meal. While the food and drinks were disappointing in several areas, I want to give a special shoutout to our server, Sarah. She was an absolute gem! Funny, knowledgeable, and so attentive—she really elevated the experience. 10/10 for her service! We were also warmly greeted by the host, Josette, who was kind and welcoming upon both our arrival and departure. 10/10 for her as well! Overall, despite the food not living up to expectations, the service and hospitality made the evening memorable. Here's hoping for a better culinary experience next time!

    Incredible food and fun atmosphere. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond. This is one of my top places in Toronto.

    Baro has the best octopus I have tried in the city. Service is always incredible. I love going here for special occasions. Drinks are a bit pricey but to on par with Toronto drink prices. I have been here a few times and will definitely be back!

    My friends and I went for winterlicious dinner and the pre-fixed menu is really good! The food portion, the service and ambience- fantastic! We had a great time that night.
