Barolo Ristorante, located in the heart of downtown Seattle, offers old-world northern Italian dishes crafted with a contemporary presentation, using natural and organic products and ingredients, many from the Pacific Northwest. The wine list includes more than 400 notable labels and varietals from around the world, specializing in Italian selections. The restaurant also hosts a lively bar offering specialty cocktails, grappa, and late night dining. Barolo’s smart Italian style is represented by lush textures, fabrics and ornamental design trends, merged with warm and comfortable accessories like hanging glass chandeliers over a large communal table, dark wood finishes and an abundance of flickering candlelight.

Barolo’s is one of my favorite restaurants and I love their lamb and cherry sauce. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is always amazing.

1. the food was good but not great 2. the server was slow to come to my table 3. the server embarrassed me by saying in front of my date that I was ordering a second glass of wine ... the first glass of wine was before my date arrived. 4. the hostess, when I called before leaving my house to go to Barolo, did not know where I could park 5. it was too loud in the restaurant... my date and I had to raise our voice to talk to each other 6. the final bill was too expensive for what I got in return

I use to go to this restaurant often, then I stopped and this time, it was very disappointing how taste on food vs quality were not there. I invited my friends to try out the carbonara and it was just not good. Too much pasta, little flavor. Also, the pappardelle with ragu was pretty bad. I regret going there for dinner.

Amazing. We went here for a team celebration dinner and the food was amazing from the appetizers to the desserts to the main course. Everyone at our table enjoyed their entrée very much and complimented the cooking and the quality of the food. We ordered the short, rip mushroom risotto, Ragu fillet lobster risotto and Osso Buco. The service was amazing as well. Our waitress was awesome and super knowledgeable about the menu and she recommended amazing suggestions.

Dining at Barolo was the perfect way to end the night with my partner - the ambiance was nice and romantic and the food was delicious. Out server Simon was super friendly and demure. He definitely helped make our experience great. We would definitely dine here again!

The food was disgusting! We had the octopus entree not worth the price at all. The main dishes the Risotto lobster my wife couldn’t even eat 2 spoon of it of how not cooked & fishy the plate was & the fettuccini seafood the pasts itself were not cooked properly and again so fishy. We had to wait a good 10-15 minutes for the waiter to bring us fork and knifes after bringing the main dishes . When we told the waiter of how unhappy we were when she was picking up the full dishes she didn’t even bother to care or even apologize . Definitely never going back again.
