Barons on 1st is an homage to Tulsa's rich history and influences. We are an American restaurant and lounge where the spirit of legendary risk-takers and visionaries inspires Chef Justin Donaldson to serve bold, unique dishes not typically seen in fine dining.

                                                  First off, it’s hard to write a negative review when there we so many positives, but here it is. Wonderful location, amazing food, extremely subpar service. It was NYE so we tried to give grace and be understanding but our waitress almost ruined our night. We got our appetizer and finished it, before we got our first drinks, almost 40 minutes to get two cocktails! Our waitress was short with us, rude, and almost nonexistent, we had to ask another one to refill waters and check on our cocktails. My wife never wants to speak to a manager but she finally said this might be a first. Tables were sat after us that were on their main course before we even got our salads. When the food did finally come it was outstanding, but we have never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant ever. When we ordered a nice bottle of wine she finally was a little more friendly, but we were already so upset and wondered if it was something we did that I am not sure we would come back. Sad because the food was 10/10.

                                                  This was our second time to dine at Baron's and it won't be our last. Gabbi was our server tonight and she was absolutely fantastic. Service was impeccable from start to finish. We both ordered the filet and they were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a little edge.

                                                  Put simply, this was perhaps the best meal I have ever had. It was as close to transcendent as a meal out ever could have been!!

                                                  Our server was not the most engaged which was surprising. Everything other time that I have eaten at Baron’s on 1st, I had no complaints. This time, the service was disappointing.

                                                  This was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. The servers and staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was very flavorful and beautifully plated. They do not skip on the little details. The atmosphere was fun and sophisticated. We will definitely be retuning soon to try more menu items!

                                                  We had the Chef’s tasting menu. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and it was a nice way to try several things on the menu. Highly recommend it! We will go back!

                                                  Pricy, but honestly felt like it was mostly worth every penny. All of our food items were fantastic and we had great service throughout. Special shoutout for the dumplings, chopped salad, Agnolotti and Lemongrass Parfait. If I was being picky, our drinks were just fine - but at this price range I could see people being disappointed. Old fashioned felt pretty watered down and the Negroni was way too bitter.
