We had dinner at this restaurant just before going to the Walnut Street theater for a show. As usual food service was very good our waitress was Mary and she did a great job. She was new, but was great! this restaurant make sure that you get your food in time and hot so that you can make the show. We definitely will be back.

The atmosphere and decor was welcoming. The calamari was flavorless and the spaghetti and meatballs were served lukewarm. Wasn’t much better when returned rewarmed. Then they ran out of a dessert before 8:30pm. Service was very very slow. Overall it was disappointing so I won’t be returning.

The food was great, I had the calamari and shrimp scampi. My husband had the blackened shrimp Alfredo. I’m glad we found this hidden gem.

My wife and I had dinner during restaurant week. We started with calamari. She had blackened shrimp for her entrée and I had steak. We ended with lemon cake for dessert. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.

We really didn't enjoy the food it was rather bland. I'm not sure if it was because we went for restaurant week but we didn't enjoy the food. The waitress was very nice but even the drink didn't taste good. I always like to try new restaurants but this one was a no for me.

We had a most enjoyable restaurant week experience at Barra Rosa! The options provided were great...a nice variety and our entrees and dessert were wonderful! The service was very good too! We'd definitely return!

Well executed, if not terribly innovative, dishes. Pizza is nothing special - pasta dishes better. A fun space in an interesting neighborhood Service very good.
