We go as a family to Barrett’s on the Pike at least once a week. The food and service is aKeats excellent! Why would I go anywhere else?

We had to wait for our 7pm appointment. It seems there were at least four other groups waiting for their 7 pm appointment. All the groups ( about 6) arrived at the same time for 7 pm reservations, and the lobby was by packed while we waited. The website asked if it was a special occasion, and I responded Birthday. Nothing from the waitstaff, so I guess they didn’t know. We asked for a tall glass for the bourbon and ginger ale but got a short glass anyway. Our entrees were delivered too soon as we were still eating our appetizers, Our waiter was very personable and apologized for the early entrees. I noticed other tables were not rushed like we were. It seems some staff need more training. We shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Meanwhile the dining room ambience was perfect, just enough background noise to have our conversations privately. The food as always was top notch.

We were seated promptly. We were with friends and were talking so didn't jump right in to look at menu - our server was accommodating and patient with us. I ordered soup, but unfortunately was not given a spoon. Our server did not check in after it was served so eventually my husband had to get up and ask someone to get me a spoon. By the time I got it, everyone else had finished their apps, my soup was cold and our entrees were being served. I had ordered the filet and a loaded baked potato, the filet was perfectly prepared but the potato was not hot. Another member of our party, ordered a ribeye steak, and requested A1 steak sauce but it came when he'd practically finished his steak. We had a pleasant time catching up, but the service could've been better.

Very nice restaurant with really great food. Our server was amazing. Had a really nice Atmosphere and plenty of parking

The food was good. Very good. We went for brunch. The food was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the roasted corn and crab soup. The experience was overshadowed by the poor service. It won't stop me from going back but if it repeats...

We have never been disappointed in the food we order at Barrett’s. Love Shrimp Cargot, French Dip, Corn and Crab soup. The Holiday specials prime rib and scallops did not disappoint. We were excited to have our favorite server but today service was very slow and there were not that many folks in the dining room. We’ll look forward to next time - she’s always great!
