   Had dinner with a friend at 5pm on Wednesday and the service was terrible (the woman didn’t seem to want to be there, she seemed bothered everything time we asked for something) and the food was bland. I had the cod and my friend had a steak and Cesar salad (salad was good) I would recommend this place for quick drinks (maybe during happy hour).

   Last night was a shining example of why Basta is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu offers a great selection and the food is delicious! Basta has a great ambiance, and the staff members are wonderful. Cassandra took care of our party of 4 and was incredible. She was attentive, personable, professional, and had great recommendations when we were trying to decide on wine pairings, or between some menu choices. I highly recommend Basta!

   Excellent service, ambiance and the tortellini was delicious. We had asked for the peppers on the side for the calamari and I wouldn’t suggest doing that - we lost out on some of the sauce. Other than that, delicious, the pasta at Basta is perfection.

    I have one of the best meals at BASTA in Cranston, RI. Warm bread Tasty clams casino Perfect Filet Yummy butter bread And service was cozy, attentive and like being at a friend's house Hope to go back sooner than later Thank you BASTA
