    Have eaten at other Baton Rouge locations before but this place seemed under par. Service was slow not sure if they were short staffed. However, a very nice manager, I assume was very attentive to our needs, took our drink order and even our meal order and checked on us a couple times He was the Hi Lite of our outing. First off I ordered a draft beer which was filled to about an inch and a half or so from the top of the glass. The menu did offer a three course special, which was a good value. It offered an 8 ounce sirloin steak ,choice of appetizer and dessert. The potato and leek soup was very good. However, all the steaks were very undercooked. Two were ordered medium one was ordered medium well while we’re bright red on the inside. Almost raw. We were in a bit of a hurry so I did not want to send them back. The loaded, baked potato was basically doused in sour cream and green onion. It had a funny taste as if it was washed in soap and not properly rinsed. The assortment of vegetables on the plate was in fact quite good. The dessert was a slice of chocolate cake. It was so so. The booth we sat in was a bit dirty on the walls and noticed a lot of dust on the lampshades. All in all not a bad place but could be much better with some small tweaks.We just didn’t think that it was up to par with other Baton Rouge locations we have visited in the past.

    An amazing experience - food and service was top notch. Our server Ursula was fantastic and one of the reasons we make the drive. The Baton Rouge in Oakville ensures the food is exactly as ordered. If there’s ever any concerns, they fix it with no problems. I can not recommend enough this restaurant for a large family event. Thank you Ursula for making sure we have a wonderful experience. We continue to return because of the food and especially Our service with Ursula!!

    I find the food at a lot of these big chain restaurants have become really sub par. Steak was ok, 6/10. Ribs were ok, cooked nice where they were fall off the bone but had a weird burnt taste to them. 2 of us had the upgraded smashed potatoe skillet and it was very greasy and oily, don’t recommend, and it was an extra $10 each.

    Our server, Claudia, was excellent. She checked in on us on a regular basis to ensure we were happy with the food. The manager also checked in on us periodically. The food was good.

    Our server was great. The food was timely and delicious. The restaurant including the restrooms was clean. My salmon salad was delicious and plentiful. The only critique was the fries weren't as good as usual, not as seasoned. My colleagues enjoyed their burger and ribs. Was an overall excellent experience.

    Glass broke in half while drinking a old fashioned. They admitted it was a new glass that was not as durable. Portions are small. At the end the waiter is expecting a tip as he jams me with the price of the drink on my bill which I was never asked for a refill. I said to bill me for a jack daniel and coke which is cheaper but they want to maximize profits so charge me for a drink that I did not drink and also do not offer a discount on the bill after my clothes are dirty. I am not one to complain to the manager but I think common sense should be given by a small discount in order to make way for a tip. To the server all you had to do was show a removal of the drink, let me pay for the jd and coke and you would have got a tip instead of looking all disappointed. I have a cut on my lip from the glass that broke
