Let the Beach Pea’s team of talented chefs prepare a delicious meal for you. With diverse specialties, ranging from French cuisine to traditional Italian pasta, the combined experience of this kitchen produces delicious, elegant dishes with a focus on fresh Nova Scotia seafood.

We accept reservations for dinner service, but if our dining room and patio are full, you are welcome to have a refreshing drink at the breezy bar while you wait to be seated.

Please note that we hold reservations for a maximum of 15 minutes
We are happy to accommodate parties of 1-8 guests in our intimate space.

                                            Excellent as always! Service, food, cocktails…all so good. We remarked amongst the table the food/experience we had at the Beach Pea could rival any top tier place we’ve been in the world. It’s a gem, and we are lucky to have it in Lunenburg! Thank you for becoming an annual birthday tradition for our family. 💕

                                            We have been wanting to go to the Beach Pea for a while now but timing has never worked out. Glad to see they were open out of season. The food is so good! The mains and desserts were the best part of the meal and everyone in our group of 4 raved about it. We had the lobster tagliatelle, shrimp pasta and the scallop & rabbit risotto, cheesecake and affogato. The appetizers were just ok and we would get something else next time. The oysters were disappointing as they were small and not shucked well with shells flakes present. The arancini (might have been better as smaller balls than one large one) and warm salad were also just ok. Service was good but the server didn’t ask when drinks were empty if we wanted another round. Ambience is great as it’s cozy and quiet. We will go back again for sure and looking forward to trying out the other dishes!

                                            Dinner was superb, even for the vegetarian. Creative cocktail menu. Delicious dessert. Ambience was lovely, though there was one very loud patron who periodically spoiled the fine dining ambience.

                                            Desmond the bartender made us some amazing cocktails. We asked him to make whip up a couple of cocktails based off of our taste profile and he nailed it! Definitely will be returning!
