Hidden behind a pawn shop storefront, Beauty & Essex invites discovery in every sense of the word. After you walk through this lavish pawn shop inspired storefront, you’ll then find a stunning restaurant with your table in one of several jewelry box rooms.

A partnership with TAO Group and acclaimed chef/restaurateur Chris Santos, Beauty & Essex offers unique sharing plates and new twists on classic cocktails. The menu serves up gems like grilled cheese smoked bacon & tomato soup dumplings, chicken meatballs, 40-day dry-aged tomahawk ribeye and more.

    2nd time here, and even better!! So awesome and highly recommend. We had party of 6 and just asked Blair, waitress, to take care of the table! It was a fantastic experience!!! Highly highly recommend and let the staff do their deal!

    The food at Beauty & Essex is very good, but the servings are small. If you like family-style eating (sharing) and appreciate terrific flavour over portion size, this is the place for you. We particularly enjoyed the Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos, Brown Butter Scallops, Oven Braised Chicken Meatballs and 'Chile Relleno' Empanadas. It was someone's birthday, so, of course, he was treated magnificently. The service was rather lacklustre. Our server rattled off some food options, and she didn't even notice that we couldn't hear her because of the ambient noise in the restaurant. The restaurant was rather dark, too, so be prepared to pull out your mobile to turn on the flashlight.

    Beauty & Essex was recommended to us from a friend who was just there. It did not disappoint!! It was just 2 of us, so we shared some appetizers and an entree. Our wait staff recommendations were on point! Everything was delicious!! We were greeted pretty immediately after being seated. The flow of food kept coming, staff was around to check on us & refill drinks. Overall, it was a great experience. Only downfall was that it is SO dark in there!!! Many people had to use phone lights to see the menu.

    I wish I could rate the ambiance higher than 5 stars! It is very dark and moody lighting with a speakeasy feel. The tapas were all incredible and were a perfect way to end our night after walking around Las Vegas all day. Our favorites were the scallops, Brussels sprouts, and chicken meatballs. We ordered 4 tapas for 2 people which was the perfect amount. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go!
