   Karen ordered scallops only to have the server return after a few minutes to say that they weren't available. There ensued some confused conversation because Karen thought they said salad. It was difficult to hear over the rap music playing. IMO the server should have known that the scallops were unavailable before they start taking orders. Also the decor and atmosphere didn't fit with the rap music.

   Incredible! Cannot come up with one detail to criticize, very unlike me. Beef Wellington, Lamb and tomato soup were amazing!

   We were expecting this to be a very nice elegant dining experience. It has high end prices but falls shot in most areas. One of the big issues is dress code. We were sat one table away from a man eating alone with a baseball cap on and his large backpack sitting on a seat. Not very elegant when you are dropping $60+ for entrees. Food was average, cook of steak wasn’t as ordered and a wait person should never pick up the paid check until the guest has left. Not a great experience.

   We started with the sishito peppers, which were very good. I had the beef Wellington, which was slightly more cooked than I prefer but good. Unfortunately, like almost everything we had, too much salt was used. My wife had the lamb chops. Again, too much salt. Our side was Miso Glazed Eggplant. Very good. For dessert we shared the black forrest cherries. We didn't't expect what came out., basically vanilla mousse with a cherry glaze covering. we expected real sherries. Our server did a very good job. We have dined at their Las Vegas location in the Cosmopolitan. This was our first time here, we'll try again.

   Prices are a bit high for the “shareable” portions but everything tastes good. Service could have been a little faster given the restaurant wasn’t crowded but wasn’t bad by any means

   It was a great experience. The food was excellent the drinks were amazing. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was 10/10. Definitely recommend!!

   Restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Ordered the dry aged steak. It was very very fatty. Also had broccolini which was impossible to chew through appetizers are good but not great. Also are very small. It’s a place you probably want to go to once but probably won’t go back to again also for the first half an hour they were playing rap music on the speakers which didn’t seem to be the appropriate music for the type of restaurant that it was

    We enjoyed our visit at Beauty & Essex, but unfortunately not enough to go again. The place itself was beautiful and we loved the vibe. Music was awesome and our server was very friendly and knew the menu well. However, our food was nothing to rave about. We ordered the poke tacos which were tasty. The mushroom ravioli was bland and had so much cheese that I could barely taste the flavor of the mushrooms. The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection but really lacked flavor. For dessert we ordered the s’mores selection and it was nothing more than chocolate ice cream with a few marshmallows on top and a broken graham cracker shoved into the ice cream. I think for a $300 bill we were just expecting the food to be much better.
