The Beehive is an underground Bohemian eatery and bar featuring fabulous cuisine, libations, artwork and world class live music. Nestled below the Boston Center for the Art’s historic Cyclorama in Boston’s South End, we are conveniently located to local theaters, the Calderwood Pavilion as well as Boston's Theater district. The Beehive serves the eclectic fare of Chef Ryan Skeen - rustic comfort food infused with American and Mediterranean influences. Excellent meal and great server. We were a bit too close to the music for ease of conversation, but the whole experience was wonderful.

We went with friends specifically for the jazz brunch. It was exactly what we hoped for. The service was perfect, the atmosphere invigorating and we had great seats close to the musicians where we could see them but not diretly in front so we were able to hold down a conversation. For the most part, the food was excellent and we really apprciated being able to taste the sauce from the turkish egg dish before ordering. Our waitstaff was very attentive, makig sure not to put down another plate until we finished what we were currently eating - and it still came out warm! We're slow eaters so appreciate this. The only constructive comments are that the corned beef hash was a bit too cheesy overtaking the flavors, and the people in our party who ordered it also commented that they are accustomed to 2 eggs while this only had one. That is the only reason I could not give this a 5 star.

Meatballs were delicious and tender, Salmon was interestingly surprising (pricey). Service was Fantastic. Live Music made for a nice Ambience. Will be Back

We really enjoyed the Beehive. A lively, fun spot. Sonny was a great server who directed us to the mussels and bread pudding. Both were DELISH as were the cocktails. I’d definitely suggest!

Spent a great Friday night, enjoying great food and music. The music volume was perfect for the space. Nice space, great service and a vibrant atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
