Not only does our food come from that beautiful ocean, but our dining room overlooks it.     OUTSTANDING! THE BEST EXPERIENCE! From check in to check out…PERFECTION Elizabeth S., our waitress was FABULOUS! She was the BEST server and gave us a memorable experience. Osso Bucco was flavorful! We subbed linguini for the polenta…WOWSER! The pasta special…DID NOT disappoint. The chicken filled ravioli with pesto pasta was out of this WORLD. The Bourbon was on point, too. We were too full to enjoy dessert, so we got it to go. The chocolate dessert was heavenly. We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Key West. Thank you again for the memorable night. Cheers 🥂

    Our dining experience at Bel Mare was overall exceptional. Service started off questionable as we had to wait quite a while to be greeted by our server. However, once that passed, the rest of the dinner was wonderful. Our server made some outstanding recommendations for our dinner selections. We started off with the octopus appetizer which was perhaps the star of the evening. It was prepared to perfection- tender and flavorful. Our entrees were also very good, the lobster risotto had what seemed to be a whole lobster! Rounded out dinner with dessert- key lime pie was very good. Overall, would definitely recommend Bel Mare for a special evening.

The menu is limited but offers well-seasoned and thoughtfully prepared dishes. The cocktail options stood out, with creative and enjoyable choices. Located in the heart of busy Key West, Bel Mare is a solid option for a relaxed meal with great drinks.
