In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. Our special Woodstone ovens create delectable flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other Italian cuisines.

Service was a bit slow today but it was quite busy. Food was delicious. Stuffed gnocchi is always a go to for my daughter. My Vegetali Strata was good but it was the crispy potatoes that really stole the show! They are yummy!

Bella Brava has been our favorite go-to place since they opened in Land O Lakes location. Our choices of entrees are limited because we choose only vegetarian selections. Even then, we usually have a choice of about 3-5 entrees. The ambiance is good because the restaurant is situated in the heart of Bexley “village”. This time something was amiss in the Brushetta we ordered for appetizer. It was soggy. Probably the bread was not toasted properly. We told the server about it and she was kind enough to have the manager approve “ no charge”. We will keep visiting Bella Brava at Bexley Village.

Our table was ready on valentines day upon arrival (booked with open table). The bruschetta was fantastic. We enjoyed the salmon entree, chicken parm, and a grilled chicken pasta dish with asiago sauce. Service was good and manager (Dave) checks to see how your table is enjoying the experience.

Our server was Kara and she provided terrible service. She never brought us bread. Then she disappeared when our food came and we had to ask Diamond Dave for condiments and more drinks. Then when she finally came back, she apologized and said she was in the back teaching her manager how to fold a pizza box.

This was me and my husband's first time at this restaurant. We did get the bruschetta but it was made with goat cheese but it was really delicious and the flavors were very good
