On this first time to Bellamy’s we chose the Monday night special “Winner, Winner, Prime Rib Dinner” which turned out to be excellent as advertised. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and the menu items. The choices on the menu looked creative and interesting. We will have to return to try those. We enjoyed the Paso Robles Cabernet wine we selected as well as the other Paso Cab our waiter recommended we sample. He was so attentive —to us and to all his customers at the surrounding tables. The presentation of our prime rib dinner was beautiful especially the baked potato topped with sour cream and crumbed bacon. The meat was perfectly cooked medium rare and the carrot side was delicious—not too firm and not too soft. The pace of the evening meal was leisurely and the atmosphere relaxed even as the restaurant filled all the tables. An outstanding dinner and a memorable experience! We will return.

We had fabulous meals of Sea Bass and Scallops. Both were perfectly cooked. The warm butter cake for dessert was delicious. Fernando was our incredible server who expertly took care of all of our dining requests. Definitely recommend Bellamy’s.

I expected a high level of service than what was received at a restaurant of this caliber. First of all, I felt very rushed. The waiter took our drink order very soon after being seated. Soon after that our dinner order was taken, with no time to relax with a cocktail. Our cocktails were not received until after our salad was received. The cocktail ordered was not correct. My husband received his martini and my corrected one was served after the entree was delivered. Both of us enjoyed our entrees very much - the food was excellent. I doubt we will return due to the fact that spending $200 (tip included) on a meal we expected to be very enjoyable, we did not feel the level of service matched the prices of this restaurant.

Although the food was very good the noise level is very high. You can hear people 3 and 4 tables away talking as if they were at your table. The mirrored wall might have something to do with it.

When I made the reservation on Open Table, there was no mention of a special menu or seating in the bar. Upon arrival, we were told that even with a reservation, the dining room was full and we could only be seated in the bar, where the chairs were hard and uncomfortable, it was noisy and lilt up like the cleaning crew was about to come in. Then we were given the menu which was a special menu for Christmas Eve. The food selections were fine, but what ever you ordered it was going to cost $100 per person, plus $35 each for a glass of house wine. That would translate into a minimum of $360, including tax and tip, for dinner with one glass of wine in a noisy, uncomfortable, lit-up bar. Upon seeing this, we got up and left without ordering anything.

Christmas Eve dinner was fixed price 3 course meal. Like other dinners we did not realize ordering from their menu was not an option. Food was delicious, beautifully presented, good options for each course, however, more money and more food than we wanted. Second time dining and would absolutely go again.

I’ve been dining at Bellamy’s for years now, but I love the current menu! The short rib, cioppino, and the sea bass were absolutely delicious. Staff is always very polite and inviting. Would recommend their restaurant to anyone who loves good food!

We looked forward to a birthday dinner but were frustrated first by having to wait a considerable amount of time for a table (despite a reservation) and for drinks service. Eventually we got a drink order in and were seated later than expected. Waiters need to understand you don’t tell someone you’ll be back in 5 minutes, and then don’t come back after 10. And don’t tell someone you’ll be back with coasters to balance a wobbly table, then never come back. Our table waiter really hustled to serve us once he was able to —the place was busy and seemed understaffed. But he was quite reasonably attentive and helpful. The meal tasted great—though my pork loin was barely warm enough. Again, maybe due to amount of busy-ness. But all the prepared dishes had great flavor, and the leftovers we took home were just as good. Overall we wanted to give this restaurant a better rating. But the wait staff were uneven and need to be equally as helpful as the bartender and table waiter were to us.
