We had a wonderful experience at Bellamy's. The food was very good, and the service was excellent! Our server Fernando took excellent care of us. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He timed our courses perfectly. We will definitely be back!

Service was really slow and poor. My meal which was chicken had so much garlic in it all I could taste was garlic. The chicken and veggies were all overpowered by garlic.

First time there it was wonderful, we will go back .We were catching the show at Performing Arts center and decided to try them out, as they were just around the corner and having a promotion with the show. It was wonderful.

The food was marvelous as was our very attentive and professional wait staff, especially Fernando. The consummate waiter, on the spot when needed nowhere to be seen when not. Amazing job. Great music by Dave Scott in the bar afterwards made for a beautiful evening.

We have always thought Belemys was one of the few fine dining places in Escondido. However I ordered the special of scallops which I usually get when they’re available anywhere. My plate arrived I had 3 less than medium sized scallops. Each about two bites. I had half of the first one and thought it was very bland and put lemon on it hoping the next bite would be better. It wasn’t..the waiter came and asked how our food was. I said I thought the scallops were tasteless. He left. I took a bite of the second one and it just tasted funny. My husband tasted it and it tasted off to him. Our waiter was no where to be seen. I ate the riced cauliflower and carrots but left the other scallop. The server came and asked if we were finished and took our plates. I told him that the scallops tasted bad. Our waiter came with the bill and I again told him the scallops were not good and didn’t finish them. They charged $60.00 for my plate of three. When the waiter returned he said the chef told him that the next time we came they would give me an extra scallop. That’s NOT going to happen even if they comped our entire meal.

We wanted to have a nice quiet dinner to celebrate my mother’s recent move to the area. The food was very good and the service provided by Fernando, our waiter, was first rate. He helped my mom navigate the menu and had the kitchen prepare a special order, because of her food restrictions, which she really enjoyed. We were well taken care of!
