   It's expensive, but it's Mayfair. Service, atmosphere and food were top class. Definitely one of the better dining experiences. Had a set lunch menu (2 courses - £45). Staff were pleasant.

   We had lunch at Benares for my birthday. It was simply outstanding. Every dish was cooked perfectly. The one that stuck with me the most was the most tender and delicious venison I have ever had. The drinks were delicious if a little pricey too. I would absolutely recommend Benares to anyone who is looking to spend a little more to celebrate a special occasion or just to treat themselves.

   Went for lunch menu Service was on point Ambiance was good, the restaurant has many private booths great for privacy Starters were a bit weak Main dishes were classics executed to perfection, best curry I’ve had in London, just missed a bit of presentation ooomph Desserts were truly extraordinary, will be returning

   We dined at Benares at the recommendation of a private chef we know who recently dined there. My daughter opted for the tasting menu for us and it was a wonderful experience . She discovered she didn’t like one of the meat dishes and the restaurant quickly offered to make her something else which they certainly didn’t need to do. The service by Shiv and the entire team was definitely top notch as was the food.

   Great food, had the tasting menu and good selection of food with excellent flavours and fantastic cooking. All complemented by tremendous attentive but not overbearing service. Would recommend

   Food very average , service ok but it was busy Not interesting enough food for the prices charged x sadly will not return .

    Our experience was amazing! It was such a lovely evening!! Food was superb!!! My fave dish was the murgh Makhani. The depth of flavours were fantastic! We did the Three courses for £49 and added the duo of wine pairing and it was everything delish. We really liked that the wine pairing was according to our plates as we both order different things. Cannot fault it! Deffo coming back to do the tasting menu! The staff manager Mr Singh was very attentive and checking on us all the time it was my friends birthday and he made it feel truly special. Shiv was our waiter and he made such a nice recommendation with the naan bread. If you can order the: garlic cheese and coriander, you will not regret it!
