Perfectly aged steaks, one of the largest wine collections in the world, and an internationally famous dessert room. These elements have combined since 1956 to provide guests with a unique culinary experience. Prime steaks are cut to order, vegetables are grown locally on the Bern’s farm when available and sourced from the finest purveyors, and the menu includes 20 choices of caviar. Each visit to Bern’s Steak House takes you on a gastronomic adventure that defines Bern’s not as a meal but as an experience.

    Great meal, you can't go wrong at Berns... Even the water tastes good! Seriously though, they haven't been around for 68 years because they get it wrong.

    Bad news first: front of the house had a nasty attitude from the get-go. We had a 9pm reservation, waited until 9:24 before we got seated. During that waiting period, we witnessed TWO managers rudely address a handicapped woman who was sitting at the bar about how her chair was “a safety hazard”……….. she was completely out of anyone else’s way, and her entire party was clearly upset about the interaction (rightfully so). Our party decided to not order a bottle of wine like we had planned on (we even had it picked out in advance) due to this interaction. Why give them any extra money when they treat people with disrespect? Onto the good: the food was incredible and our waiter was amazing. Wonderful ambience and quick turnaround from ordering to receiving our plates, especially considering the wait to get a table. Overall, the kitchen and wait staff are top tier. Hopefully the managers and hostesses improve their attitude.

    One incredible evening. If you want to remember what a high quality restaurant used to look and work like, go to Bern’s. One still exists in Tampa.

    Had a great experience! The staff was so nice and efficient. Food and drinks were great. The tours were very cool, we were glad we did them. Dessert room is a must, very nice and secluded in the little booths.
