   Friendly welcoming staff and delicious food served quickly what more could you ask The only slight issue was that both my self and my guest struggled with the cutlery ads it was triangular and quite difficult to hold but everything else excellent

   The hotel was one of the best we have stayed in, food 10/10 , room 10/10 *****staff were really friendly & helpful really happy thank you ,,,, will definitely stay again and recommend,,,,,,

   Stayed for a December weekend with wife and kids. The town was so charming and full of history. The hotel was fully decorated for Christmas and has a very cozy feel. The staff was extremely cheery and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was amazing. We had the steak and ale pie and hunters chicken. They even added a few items to their menu just for the kids. Definitely would recommend this hotel and town for another stay.
